Great Company! We are a leading manufacturer of lab ware for the biotech and industrial research industries. We are a well established manufacturer with headquarters in California. We are currently seeking a Bay Area Sales Representative.
The Sales Representative is needed to service and grow an established client base selling labware to universities, biotech and industrial research companies. The Sales Representative manages sales activities of assigned distributors and/or special assignments.
Primary job
Responsibilities:
o Sells product and works closely on a daily basis with sales representatives, sales managers, and appropriate inside support people (purchasing, customer service, etc.)
o Attends local and regional sales meeting.
o Introduces new product at a branch level.
o Informs company of product complaints and follow up from results.
o Reports back to the manager competitive information specific to products, pricing, promotions, etc.
o Provides manager with monthly itinerary, and other information as required.
o Attends all necessary sales meetings.
o Works closely with customer service representative.
o Seeks out and identifies new product opportunities.
o Forecasts sales and budgets along with management input.
Education Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree (preferably a Scientific Degree) from a four year college or university;
o Two to three years sales experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Flexibility to travel.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
