Embedded Management Plane Software Engineer (San Francisco, CA., and Petaluma, CA., area with relocation available)
Summary
The Embedded Management Plane Software Developer creates software solutions to control the operation and service setup of our multi-terabit transport products for operation in a distributed software environment across multiple assemblies and processors. Utilizing model driven software approaches and other modern programming techniques.
Qualifications
Very strong Object Oriented programming experience
Familiarity with software development for products with high-availability
Familiarity with analyzing and optimizing software for scale and performance
Experience with embedded LINUX or other RTOS
BS or better in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
Candidates possessing the additional preferred skills (see below), will receive priority in consideration for employment: Drive to investigate cutting edge programming techniques and tools to improve product performanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
