This person will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company.
The ideal candidate will have a background in transportation, logistics, and supply chain management.
This individual will report to the CEO and be responsible for the overall operation of the company.
Essential Duties Oversee daily operations of the company Manage and train employees Oversee inventory control and ordering Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers Oversee transportation projects and procure equipment/materials Oversee drivers and schedule shifts Oversee driver performance and discipline issues Oversee driver safety issues and recommendations Oversee driver drug screening process Oversee driver performance management process Oversee driver uniform maintenance process Oversee driver time tracking process Other duties as assigned by manager or manager's supervisor, as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation industry.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and weekends over time.
Must have a valid Driver's License with proof of insurance.
Must be able to pass a background check.
