Petaluma, CA Petaluma, CA Part-time Part-time $22 an hour $22 an hour 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago PURPOSE Supported Living (Community Living Services/CLS) supports individuals to live safely and successfully in their own apartments or shared homes with the needed support to be safe, healthy and lead meaningful lives.
REQUIRMENTS Must be familiar or willing to learn adult Autism spectrum Must be willing to take client on hikes, swimming and play basketball Client loves/needs sensory input must be willing to learn his behavior patterns and intervention program, client requires lots of hugs and music therapy TASKS Provide client support including, but not limited to:
Domestic Home Care including, but not limited to cleaning, cooking, and laundry Domestic Self Care including, but not limited to bathing, dressing, and hygiene Financial management such as budgeting, assisting client with good money choices Promote healthy choices with diet, medical appointments, medications, exercise programs Identify household needs and safety issues Promote recreation through social activities, classes, and areas of personal interest Support relationships with family and friends, and facilitation of new relationships Provide transportation for school, work, appointments, and community outings Attend monthly staff meetings, in-services, safety meetings, training.
Document daily log notes, medication sheets, incident reports, etc.
Communicate any major changes in client's schedule (hospital visit, taking client out of town, encountering difficulties in the community, etc.
) to your Supervisor immediately Record actual hours worked on our time and attendance system via smartphone, tablet, or computer and turn in on time.
Follow Emergency Procedures (chain of authority, 911) Actively participate in CACS fundraising efforts Assuming other duties, responsibilities and special projects as needed Basic Skills Active Learning- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
Active Listening- Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Requires the ability to be mobile (including, but not limited to lifting, bending, squatting, crouching, twisting).
Ability to lift 50 llbs.
Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) preferred Experience with people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Valid Driver's License Pass background check A vehicle in documented good working order Up to date CPR certification PI222777520.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
