This position is responsible for providing leadership for the Customer Service Team, ensuring a positive experience for all customer groups and sales channels (ex:
wholesale, distributor, e-commerce).
This unique group of food-lovers brings their diverse backgrounds to this collaborative team.
As team lead, you will help all build impactful relationships with our customers by providing exceptional service & introducing them to some of the most delicious artisan cheeses (and other goods) from across the US and parts of Europe.
What You'll Do:
Lead the Customer Service team in all daily activities:
communications (email, phone), order processing, customer inquiries, etc.
Provide customer-centric leadership, engagement, and satisfaction promoting customer retention and growth.
Ensure order entry process is happening correctly and completely in the ERP system, including confirmations, shortages and substitutions.
Support CS Team success by providing regular feedback, reviews, training and coaching.
Create and publish regular monthly newsletters and pricelists.
Create and publish ad hoc communications about holiday hours, policy changes, etc.
Create and maintain all department SOPs.
Train new and existing employees on all relevant procedures or changes.
Communicate regularly with Sales and Procurement about any upcoming new products, product changes, promotions.
Keep the CS Team updated about all relevant information.
Communicate with internal partners, keeping all key players informed on issues including but not limited to shortages/allocation, quality/shipping issues, pricing changes and lists, special requests, competitor information, etc.
Work with the Sales Director to regularly review & update CS polices & practices, working to ensure we're meeting customer expectations while balancing business needs.
What You Bring:

years of Supervisory or Management experience 3
years of Customer Service experience in an office-based setting ERP & Shopify experience preferred but not required Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Proficient in MS Office programs Systems & process thinker, cross-functional and collaborative mindset Perks & Pay:
This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position.
Pay range $32-36/hr, considerations include individual experience.
