Responsibilities:
Develop a business partnership with functional operations and supply chain leadership to assist in decision making and achieve desired business results by positively driving accountabilityDrive operational productivity, identify productivity gaps, and assist in creating action plans for gap closureEnsure compliance with Corporate Accounting Policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.Prepares required accounting accruals, reconciliations and journal entries to support financial reporting while ensuring accounting procedures conform to GAAP and SOX requirementsAnalyze and clearly articulate financial consequences of potential actions to help drive informed decision makingFacilitate the reporting of financial metrics and scorecards that track the success of sourcing initiatives, cost savings projects, capital spending, and working capital managementSupport and drive efficient processes around daily, weekly, and monthly key business metricsPerform detailed financial modeling for business cases related to capital projects and cost savings initiatives including ownership of the review and approval process. Develop quoting and margin analysis models for current and new productsSupports financial reporting and monthly / quarterly close and forecast processPerforms analysis that aids in the decision making process, helps improve profitability, and identifies new business opportunities.Monitor monthly progress against budgets / targets and works with managers to ensure accountabilityPrepares month-end journal entries and account reconciliations in an accurate and timely mannerReview Project/Capital spend to ensure that appropriations request accurately reflect the true costs and benefits of the projectsMinimum Requirements/Qualifications/Characteristics:
Must Have:
School Professional level:
Bachelors' Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics5
years of progressive finance or operational experience in a manufacturing environment.Must be hands on, and willing to spend time in production areas to understand challenges.Strong EXCEL skills and excellent communication skills are requiredSelf-motivated with the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlinesStrong analytical skills and ability to identify key drivers of financial performanceHigh energy and confident ability to influence a continuous improvement cultureExperience with and understanding of ERP systems in a manufacturing environmentCommitment to excellence and high standards
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
AccountingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
